Gifts of Insurance
A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to make a gift to Occidental College. If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider making a gift of your insurance policy to Occidental College. For example, you may have purchased a policy to provide for minor children and they are now financially independent adults.
Benefits of gifts of life insurance

- Receive additional income tax deductions each year that you make additional contributions so that Occidental College can pay the annual insurance premiums

"Oxy showed me that the path to one's goals need not be linear or conventional. I learned how to think, to write, to create; to trust my instincts and pursue my interests with passion and a standard of excellence. Not a day has passed that I have not been rewarded in some way by my Occidental education."
